Anne-Marie’s approach to therapy can be defined as emotion focused and psychoanalytic. She views the pain and discontent we come to experience as being rooted in old stories that are held deep within our bodies and minds, often outside our day-to-day awareness. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to listen deeply to these stories, sometimes through words, sometimes through felt experience, and respond intentionally to what they have to tell us. This work creates the opportunity to forge new paths and write new stories.Anne-Marie is heavily informed by the paradigms of attachment theory and relational neuroscience, modern psychoanalysis, as well as the modalities of emotion focused therapy and parts work. Anne-Marie currently is meeting individual adults through Telehealth.
